Mountain Updates

Thursday, September 23, 2021:

Hikers:

The mountain trails are in perfect condition for fall hiking. Today we’re looking at cold temps, light rain and a snow-line at the Mountain Station. Please dress accordingly and bring layers. The tram is running daily starting at 11 a.m. for sightseeing and access to the upper mountain as well as downloads for hikers.

This fall’s hiking terrain MAP

The mountain is OPEN for hiking up to Mighty Mite via North Face and the Bowl Route and the Headwall via Center Ridge. The Center Ridge route is steep, strenuous and considered expert only terrain. Always remember to check the local forecast and be prepared for changes in weather.

Winner Creek, Winner Creek Extension Trail, and Upper Winner Creek are also in great shape for hiking. Please exercise caution on trails if you see wildlife, it’s always a good to carry bear spray with you and know how to use it.
